faqs

Q: What do I need to bring?

A: We don’t provide towels but we do provide linen. We provide enough wood for your wood burner, and fire pit, for your stay.
You will receive a ‘starter pack’ in your fridge; semi skimmed milk, a loaf of wholemeal bread, home-made marmalade, eggs, tea and coffee, just to get you going.
You will need torches as lighting is limited.

Q: Is there a supermarket nearby?

A: Ilminster is the nearest town and there is a supermarket there.
We have a fantastic farm shop nearby and we can collect meat for you for BBQs. Let us know and we can order and collect for you.

Q: Is the site safe for children:

A: There is a lake and there are streams and ditches which have running water. We have a fence in between the lake and the tent for added safety.

Q: Are there any pubs or restaurants nearby?

A: We have a great Pub in our village with fantastic food and we are close to Lyme Regis (30 mins) is you want specialist seafood restaurants.
